This owes to the fact that the sustainability of Higher Education & that of TVETs affect them directly. FBGA 2022 Conference Organizers & Advisory Team take cognizance of University
and TVET Students’ capacities and immense potential that they possess in playing a
key role in resolving societal problems affecting Sub Sahara Africa today.

Of critical importance is the desire for Sustainability of the Institutions of Learning
where each of these students is currently undertaking their studies. The organizers
therefore have embraced the need for these students spread across East, Central
and West Africa Regions to take part and participate in the FGBA 2022 Conference
whether in-person or virtually and while doing so get an opportunity to enroll for full
funded initiatives being undertaken through the FBGA 2022 and INAPS platform in
partnership with key sponsors and collaborators. This will enable them become part
of translating their knowledge into applicable skills, and through critical thinking play
a role in solving societal problems affecting Sub Sahara Africa today with a focus on
East, Central & West Africa.

All university students regardless of the course they are undertaking are eligible to
apply. However, attendance to the FBGA 2022 conference is a precondition to being
selected to take part in any of the fully sponsored initiatives as explained below.

The Conference Organizers through key sponsors have taken up 80% of the total
conference cost per student and given them a relatively affordable rate to enable
them enroll for the conference.

With USD 20 equivalent to KES. 2000/- [virtual attendance] and USD 80 equivalent
for in-person participation], students intending to attend the conference have an
opportunity to access all of the conference attendance benefits indicated.

The conference fee caters for:

  • 4-day participation to the conference;
  • Conference materials [bag, notebook, pen and t-shirt];
  • Certificate of Participation
  • Automatic enrolment into the ongoing student-based initiatives indicated
    below:

1. 4 full days of active conference participation (special conference link to be given to each student participating virtually) with an opportunity to grow your networks through the provided conference platform – your networks are your net worth!

Youth Direct Program - 1st Hand Opportunity for early enrollment for Attachment & internship Positions across the Country – in line with newly established National Industrial Training Authority [NITA] Schemes on Industrial Attachment in collaborations with other industrial training authorities across East, Central & West Africa for 2022 and beyond.

5. Opportunity for 1st hand voicing of your opinion as far as sustainability of your institution of learning is concerned – in your capacity as a student.
